"i'd rather not talk
with 3D people." I can't breathe. Pressure seemed to compound in from all sides as Hibiki's eyes stared towards the screen that seemed to sit on read for far too long. Every minute felt a lifetime whenever a person passed, she couldn't help but feel her body growing smaller as she sat on the worn bench. It was almost as if her body was on the verge of disappearing completely if she was to come into contact with one of the moving variables, yet the one who should feel like that was no doubt carelessly skipping her way to her. A steady rhythm would pound on a drum made of concrete, the Isamu student's eyes would stare at her phone as if out of nowhere she'd find reprieve in the solace of one who understood how she felt... yet she knew hoping for a message at a time like this was a shot in the dark. Her fingers would begins typing out a message before tapping it back out of existence.
She had never dealt well with crowds, much less ones filled with a shifting tide of unfamiliarity. Who knows how many of these people could be villains, criminals, and the ill... all of them threatening the little comfort she has. Of it all what if she was to find herself caught in the crossfire? Who would tell Yoko? It'd be nothing more than a mystery... she didn't want her to feel bad. Her eyes would roll towards the sky as if trying to lose herself in the clouds and take flight. The otaku couldn't understand how people could deal with this on the daily... braving the hordes who held little to no care for others feelings, how she missed her warm safety room. Fluffy pillows that surrounded a fort that no one could penetrate, all keeping her precious laptop in good care.
Her chest would rise and fall in an unsteady percussion as she'd glance back around waiting for the ball of sunshine that would make this whole excursion worth it. She had promised to take Ayano out for something warm and sweet after all... and she wasn't going to go back on that promise, especially since she would never hear the end of it. Every second her collar seemed to rise higher attempting to block out the sea of stimuli that threatened her stimuli... Ayano where are you?

the fragile always fall apart Sun creeped through the surrounding buildings, pouring out onto the streets below as the young preteen wandered through the streets of Tokyo. People passing by, satellites whizzing by for only a moment in the busy expanse of space. Though today was not about the strangers who visited her solar system; no today was about her older sister. The singular supportive satellite that orbited her, Ayano had somehow managed to convince her to come out of her dorm room to hang out. Truly a momentous feat. The ball of sunshine hopped through the streets of Tokyo, humming a nonsensical tune to herself as she made her way slowly closer to the designated meeting spot. Long, tied up blue hair, eyes shifting between the strangers that passed her, her mouth conspicuously hidden- Ayano felt as a smile spread across her face as she slid up next to her and wrapped her arms around her side. “Hibi-nee!...Surprise!! Did you miss me?” Ayano laughed to herself, slowly swaying from side to side as she smiled. “How have you been? Where are we going for today?”

"i'd rather not talk
with 3D people."
Of course any attempts at avoiding the shifting waves were inevitably crushed as a floating buoy made it's way around her waist, gripping her in a tight embrace far too close for a girl made of glass. She'd look over to Ayano with a plainfully drab expression as if there is nothing in the world that could curl a smile across her hidden lips, "Oh look... a kid... I wonder who let you wander around like that... hugging strangers." Hibiki would snicker to herself clearly enjoying teasing Ayano too much for her own good, the blue-haired girl would lower an oddly soft hand onto Ayano's head giving her several gentle pats.
There was no doubt that the mechanic missed her sister more than anything, even her parents could compare to the non-stop love that she held for her little sister, "We're going to head to a maid cafe... they have some really sweet pastries that should make you annoy the crap out of our parents. Plus you look like you need something sweet to get you to stop holding onto my waist..." Once again a soft giggle would muffle out from Hibiki's hoodie as she dumped her hands into her pockets and stood up from the bench, being sure not to lift up her sis and make her fall. She'd then begin making her way off towards a nearby maid cafe, recognizable by its insignia of a famous maid hero.
As they drew closer the thick scent of mixing cinnamon and tea would make itself clear, with an underlying aura of chocolate. That said it was clear the closer they got to the haven of cute girls, the more uncomfortable Hibiki got... no doubt worried about the soon to be thrust open them social contact, only made worse by the slew of 3D girls mocking the historic value of a cute 2D maid. Many older folks would look their way given them happy waves and big smiles, no doubt enjoying the site of two youthful girls going about their day and reminiscing about their days in the spotlight like this.
